What Your Kid Walks Away With

More than a camp. A launchpad.

Survey data from parents tells us what matters most. Here's exactly what your kid gains — and what makes YSMnation different from every other summer program.

01
💰

Real Money Skills

Pricing, profit, budgets — the math that runs the world. Your kid learns it by actually using it.

02
🎤

Confidence on Stage

By the end, your kid stands up and delivers a 60-second pitch in front of a real audience. That changes them.

03
💡

Real Creativity

Idea generation isn't a gift — it's a muscle. We train it daily with brainstorm sprints and design challenges.

04
🤝

Teamwork & Leadership

Mixed-age teams mean older kids mentor younger ones. Every kid leads. Every kid learns from someone.

05
🛠️

Problem-Solving Mindset

The "Problem Hunter" walk teaches kids to see opportunities everywhere. That's a skill they'll use forever.

06
🚀

A Real Business

By Market Day, your kid has a portfolio, a pitch, a product, and a booth. Not a worksheet. A business.

The 5 Modules

From "I have an idea" to "I have a business."

Every YSMnation cohort moves through five carefully built modules. Each one unlocks a new skill that builds toward Market Day.

MODULE 01

What is a Business?

Spot problems. Generate ideas. Pitch your first concept.

MODULE 02

Know Your Customer

Research, empathy, communication. Who is this for?

MODULE 03

Make It & Price It

Product design, cost, profit, and how money actually works.

MODULE 04

Sell It & Market It

Branding, logos, ads. The art of making people care.

MODULE 05

Run It Like a CEO

Leadership, roles, and Market Day — the real finale.

Frequently Asked

Real questions. Real answers.

Yes — that's the #1 thing we designed for. Every day follows a 5-block rhythm: Spark, Learn, Build, Pitch, Reflect. Nothing lasts more than 60 minutes. Kids are doing, not sitting. The hands-on, team-based format keeps even reluctant kids glued in.
Every activity is age-tiered. Younger kids draw, act it out, and play. Older kids lead, analyze, and mentor the younger ones. Middle schoolers get explicit "mentor moments" where they coach a buddy. It's one of the most loved parts of the program — younger kids look up to the older ones, and older kids step into leadership.
Every YSMnation kid leaves with: a full Business Portfolio (all their worksheets, idea sketches, and pitch notes), Module completion badges, a Certificate of Completion, and a real product they made for Market Day. Plus: a 60-second pitch they've delivered live, and the confidence that comes with it.
Nope. Not a thing. Every concept is taught in kid-friendly language with examples kids actually relate to (lemonade stands, dog walking, video games, snack businesses). Parents often tell us they learn something too.
